Eight ways to bring your product to life
A rotating product, a packaging reveal and a showroom walkthrough need different scenes. Choose the subject and the message first, then the animation scope.
Animated 3D packshot
A single product on a neutral background, shown in motion from several angles. Useful for product pages, presentations and advertising when you need to explain shape and proportion clearly.
Product and packaging reveal
Show a pouch, box or finished product taking shape on screen. A reveal introduces the design and builds towards a clear final product view.
Animated logo
Animate your logo in three dimensions for video intros and brand sign-offs. Agree the background and export format before production.
Material and finish close-ups
Use close views and controlled light to show foil, spot varnish, kraft, holographic effects, embossing or fabric texture. The render represents the approved material references.
Animated 3D mascot
A branded character can introduce products and connect a series of videos. Define its appearance, personality and movements before animation.
Exhibition stand and retail display
Visualise an exhibition stand or retail display before construction. Provide dimensions, layout and branding to build a useful spatial reference.
3D space walkthrough
Guide the viewer through a modelled shop, showroom, workshop or production area. Agree the camera route and the spaces that need to be built.
Product launch film
Combine a product reveal, material close-ups, contextual scenes and a brand sign-off into one launch film. Define the sequence through a storyboard.
What changes between the three levels?
Duration, camera movement, scene complexity, materials and the number of variants determine the scope. The ranges below depend on the selected service; confirm the final deliverables and applicable taxes in your written quote.

Essential
A short animation focused on one subject, with a neutral setting and a simple camera movement.
Planned production time: 7–10 working days after receipt of complete assets, subject to the agreed scope. One preview revision round. Agree the 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5 exports.

Creative
A longer sequence with developed camera movement, a light set and lighting designed to reveal the finish.
Planned production time: 10–15 working days after complete assets, subject to scope. One preview revision round; lightweight GIF and PNG keyframes included in the agreed delivery.

Premium
A complete scene with multiple shots, more complex finishes and planned colour, product or language variants.
Planned production time: 15–21 working days after complete assets, subject to scope. One preview revision round, a text-free version and separate shots within the agreed delivery.
Model creation and reuse
Animation needs a three-dimensional model. Where SKLUBS already has a suitable model from designing or manufacturing the packaging, it can be reused. Otherwise, the object or space must be modelled and textured from your files. Confirm what already exists and what needs creating before the quote is approved.
Model creation from supplied files: €290 per object or space. Where SKLUBS designed or manufactures the support and the model is suitable, modelling is included. Five additional formats: €149. An additional revision round: €149. Express option: €190, subject to availability and an agreed deadline.
A coordinated series of six animations
The six core services share the product model, lighting and visual identity. Planning them together creates a consistent series rather than six unrelated videos. Confirm the subjects and scope of the package before ordering.

When a 3D animation is useful

Show the design before manufacturing
With approved artwork and accurate dimensions, the model can be prepared before a finished physical product exists. Coordinate the animation and manufacturing schedules instead of assuming they will finish together.

Explain a finish through movement
Moving light helps show reflective foil, varnish and holographic effects. Use actual material references and agree the intended appearance before rendering.

Create variants from an approved model
An existing scene can support new colours, artwork and screen formats. The work depends on what changes; agree each variant rather than assuming every change is a simple export.
Four stages, with approval before the final render
Brief and scope
Choose the service and scope, then provide artwork, logo, dimensions, plans and a packaging dieline where available. Identify the audience, message, video length and required channels. Supply approved UK campaign wording and identify the units used in every dimension. Prices here are in EUR; agree invoice currency in your quote.
Modelling and texturing
Build the proportions, apply the artwork and define paper, plastic, metal, glass and decorative finishes. Reference images help align the model with the real product.
Animated preview
Review a lower-resolution animation with the planned camera movement and timing. Request the included revision round before the longer final render begins.
Final render and delivery
The approved sequence is rendered, colour-adjusted and exported in the agreed formats. Delivery dates run from complete usable assets and the project schedule, not simply from payment.
Plan the files for each publishing channel
Specify where the animation will be used before rendering. Confirm which exports your service level includes and which require an additional format.

Screen formats
Compose each aspect ratio deliberately so that the product and message stay visible.
16:9 MP4 for websites, YouTube and presentations. 9:16 MP4 for vertical Reels, TikTok and stories. 1:1 MP4 for square feeds. 4:5 MP4 for portrait feed placements.
Lightweight web assets
Choose the format for the actual platform and its technical limits.
A lightweight GIF can work where video is unavailable, subject to email-client support. Transparent WebM can place animation over a page background; check browser support and a suitable fallback.
Reusable assets
Use selected outputs beyond the original video placement.
PNG keyframes provide still images from the animation. A text-free export gives your team a base for subtitles and localised wording. Confirm usage rights and delivered files in the project scope.
Questions before commissioning an animation
How much does a 3D product animation cost?
Starting prices are €390 for a packshot, logo animation or material close-up; €490 for a reveal; €790 for a mascot; €990 for a stand; and €1,190 for a walkthrough or launch film. Essential, Creative and Premium cover different scopes. Confirm the final price, taxes and deliverables in writing.
What should the quote specify?
The subject, modelling work, duration, scene, camera movement, revisions, formats, variants and usage rights should be clear. A comparable quote describes the work rather than relying only on the video length.
Do I need to send a physical product?
Files, dimensions and reference views are usually the starting point. A sample may help with unusual materials. Agree the references needed for your specific product.
When is modelling charged separately?
A usable existing SKLUBS model can be reused. Creating a new object or space from supplied files is listed at €290. Confirm suitability and any additional modelling before work begins.
Which files should I provide?
Send vector or high-resolution artwork, your logo, dimensions and a dieline if available. Include reference views, materials, intended length and publishing channels.
How long does animation take?
The planned production times are 7–10 working days for Essential, 10–15 for Creative and 15–21 for Premium after complete usable assets. Confirm the schedule for your scope and approvals; express work depends on availability.
Can one video show several products?
Yes. Each distinct object may need modelling and texturing. A launch film can combine several references in one scene; specify the range before pricing.
What if I do not have a dieline?
Provide dimensions and clear views of the object so the team can assess the model. A dieline helps place printed graphics accurately but the required inputs depend on the product.
Can the model be used again?
An existing model can support later animations and variants. Confirm storage, source-file handover and reuse rights in your agreement; these are different from receiving the finished video.
How does 3D differ from a filmed video?
3D builds the subject and lighting digitally, while filming captures a physical scene. Animation can show an approved design before manufacturing and can reuse scenes for planned variants.
Is this only for packaging?
No. The services cover objects, packaging, logos, mascots, retail displays and modelled spaces. Provide the geometry or references needed for the subject.
Can you prepare the packaging design too?
Yes. Discuss artwork and packaging design as part of the brief. Approve dimensions, materials and graphics before using them for both production and animation.
